Those who want to shorten this 78 km cycle tour to 55 km can best do so at Aan het Broek (before FKP 71) by going straight to FKP 77-78 and 56 to continue the route again. Maasterras Kanters is located in a unique location on the banks of the Maas in Ool, a hamlet that is part of Roermond. In this region you have plenty of choice for a bike ride: the Maasplassen, the Leudal and the Meinweg are all within cycling range. Not to mention historic Roermond and towns such as Thorn, Wessem and Stevensweert. Park your bike at Kanters to recharge your batteries at your leisure. From the terrace on the water you can look out over the Maas and the boats while enjoying a drink and snack.

Huis Ravensberg

This castle-like house, located in the Linnerweerd, was created in the 17th century and is probably named after the noble Rave family from Amby. The current mansion is from the end of the 18th century. The stables and coach house, and the associated U-shaped farm, date from the 19th century. The house with accompanying estate is listed as a national monument.

Huize Hoosden is a mansion with a surrounding estate in Sint Odili? Nberg. The complex is located in the Roerdal with to the north the church mountain Sint-Petrusberg with the basilica and Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekapel and to the east the old village center. There is a hail cross on the estate.

The original Freymersen Castle was built in the Middle Ages, but only a two-storey round tower remains. The current country house was built in 1865.

The Bospark belonged to the former Franciscan college of Sint Ludwig. In 1990 the Indian guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi took up residence there. He is known for his contacts with The Beatles who learned Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi at the time. Since then, this has been the world headquarters of the Transcendental Meditation movement, with millions of adherents. Maharishi died in 2008. Here people from all over the world follow meditations and training. Behind 164 waving flags you can see the gold-colored wooden palace. When you walk around there it seems like you are in another world.

(MIP) The castle was rebuilt in 1893 in a traditional style by Jhr. CAME van Afferden. A family crest, date stone and architectural style bear witness to this. The façade has a pentagonal bay window on the left that opens into a tower with decorative brickwork

The current farm is a continuation of the castle's outer bailey. The main castle is located to the west of the outer castle. Parts of the moat around the main castle are still present. Oak poles were found halfway up the driveway from Heerstraat
