Cycling around Wageningen

The route starts at Pannekoekhuis de Grebbeberg, a cozy location to start the route with a coffee and something tasty. A little later you can enjoy the views and the characteristic old farms in the polder landscape of the Gelderse Vallei. The kilometers seem to pass by themselves here. Just past Bennekom you make a small climb as you enter the woods on the edge of the Veluwe. You cross the Lower Rhine via a ferry. To the right of the dike are the floodplains with their flowery grasslands, to the left you see the many fruit orchards that the Betuwe is rich in. Just past Opheusden you take another ferry and cycle through the De Blauwe Kamer nature reserve. After the climb you will probably feel like having something tasty at Pannekoekhuis de Grebbeberg.
