Tour of Borculo, Ruurlo and Lochem

The route takes you through a wonderfully quiet scenic landscape and through charming towns full of cultural history. Just outside Diepenheim you cycle past a manor whose origins date back to the twelfth century. There are some beautiful monuments to see on the quay in Borculo. At the De Slinge stream you will pass an authentic location: Museum de Lebbenbrugge. Further on you drive through the pleasant Ruurlo. Here you will see the old village church and the Agneta mill. After you pass the Lochemse Berg, you drive through the town of Lochem and pass the St. Gudula Church, which dates back to the Middle Ages. After driving a few kilometers along the Twente Canal, you will pass through the picturesque hamlet of Stokkum. You can end the route with a meal at Landhuishotel and Bistro Herikerberg.
