Description
This route comes from the ANWB booklet'Walking with your dog\\\' and is called'Strolling through varied forest\\\' (16). The dog is allowed to run loose everywhere.
If you are at the parking lot of Boswachterij Austerlitz Franse Put (N224; hm-post 7.4; to the exit Driebergen) you can also go straight through the forest, parallel to the road, and then pick up the route and turn right.
After about 1/3 you arrive in a forest where'Paalkamperen\\\' is allowed (= spending the night in nature). A little further you pass the Wallenberg, historical heritage from 1797.
The same goes for crossing the heath. You can walk around this along the edge of the forest or choose the sandy path that takes you directly into the forest and picks up the route again.
