Walking Tour Kaltenbronn
Hikers will encounter a piece of nature on this Kaltenbronn tour, which is quite unusual for southern Germany. The sparse landscape of the Kantenbronn conservation area is more like southern Finland. This beautiful ring road of more than 14 km takes you past a number of beautiful viewpoints. The route starts at the hiking car park"F\\\", near the information center Kaltenbronn. On the way you pass a piece of peat bog and a gravel road takes you to the Hohlohturm. A staircase takes you to the top, where you are at an altitude of 1000 meters. Here you have a beautiful view of the Murgtal and the Rheintal. On a clear day, you can even see as far as the Vosges and the Alps!
During the last part of the route you will brave the unspoilt"Bannwald\\\" and encounter the famous"Jägerschaukel\\\"; a wooden swing that lends itself well to a short break. The last part is especially fun for children: they can take part in the parallel"Trollpfad\\\" and experience an exciting troll adventure
