Water, forest and meadow path (Geniesserpfad)
This walking route is ideal for true nature lovers. The route takes you through the beautiful Rötelbachtal, past imposing rock formations and beautiful viewpoints. You start this more than 13 kilometers long, varied walking tour near the market square of the town of Calw. The path soon goes uphill: via a number of rock formations you reach the Gimpelstein. From here you have a fantastic view. The highlight of this walk is without a doubt the part through the (be careful, sometimes slippery) Rötelbachtal, a beautiful piece of forest full of streams and rocks. In romantic Zavelstein, a visit to the castle ruins is definitely worth it. You quickly reach the starting point through the forest and past a number of fruit fields. Once back in Calw, don't miss the wild boar park. You can find a bit of relaxation at the Wölfles source.
The ring road can also be started in the town of Zavelstein. You can spend the night here: in Zavelstein there is a hiker's hotel with a tasty regional kitchen.
