Wildkatzen walking tour
This six-kilometer"Wild cats\\\" tour is the ideal hiking route for families with (young) children. It is also the first route in Germany to be voted best family route. The walk starts at the ski resort of Bad Herrental and takes you over narrow paths through the forest, where you also brave a number of rivers by jumping from boulder to boulder. Fun for the kids! The chance that you encounter a wild cat along the way is small, but at various information points you can learn all about these mysterious inhabitants of the Black Forest. The animals are among the last predatory cats in Europe and are extremely shy. With this walk through the pristine forests you follow the footsteps of the animal.
For the children there is a treasure hunt along the ten information points of the Wildekatten tour, also known as'rescue stations\\\'. With the right solution, they can receive a diploma via the website of the natural park.
