This cycle route also owes its name to a river: over more than 100 km you follow the longest tributary of the Neckar, the Enz. The route starts at the source in Enzklösterle.
From the northern Black Forest you follow the Enz in a southerly direction and cycle through the popular wine region of the Neckartal. Through forests, along springs and over slopes. The further south you go, the wider and more powerful the Enz becomes. The route also becomes flatter, with the higher located"gold city\\" Pforzheim as an exception. Through a varied landscape, the route follows the winding Enz from one half-timbered village to the next.
Along the way you can enjoy a tasty snack and a good glass of (regional) wine at various guesthouses. A visit to the towns of Mühlacker, Vaihingen and the"double\\\" town of Bietigheim-Bissingen is also worthwhile. The route ends in the Roman wine town of Walheim, where the Enz flows into the Neckar. The Enztal-Radweg is divided into no less than 12 sections.
