A tough walk of 15 kilometers through a beautiful piece of untouched nature. In 2016, this hiking route was declared"dream route\\" by the German hiking association; you can discover why for yourself.
The route starts in Bad Herrenalb, also known as the city of the seven valleys. Soon you reach the ruins of the former Cistercian monastery. Along the way you will come across a number of other sights such as the hunting lodge and the"Großes Loch\\\", an impressive natural monument. Not far from here is the"Teufelsmühle\\\". You can enjoy a rustic meal at this legendary former mill. The guest house is located at an altitude of over 900 meters, which promises beautiful views. On the way back you pass the ski resort of Talwiesenschänke. A bit on the Schanzweg brings you back to Bad Herrenalb.
The walking route follows a number of other routes such as the Klosterstraße, the Quellenerlebnispfad, the Albtalweg and the Brudesweg. A good route description before departure is not unwise.
