This route takes you on a walking tour around't Harde. It is a route with two faces, because you walk through the woods on the edge of the Veluwe and through the wide landscape of the Gelderse Vallei.
Veluws quiet
The route starts on the edge of't Harde. After a short walk you will pass the Monument Theodore Bachenheimer, an allied soldier of German-Jewish origin who was shot here on October 22, 1944 by the occupying forces. A little further you walk into the woods. It smells wonderful between the coniferous trees, but it is also Veluws quiet here. Ideal for relaxing and letting your mind wander!
