Tour of Drongelen and Geertruidenberg

This route takes you through the region west of Waalwijk. Here you'll find plenty of natural beauty and several historic towns. After crossing the Bergsche Maas river, you'll cycle through the village of Capelle. Between junctions 16 and 13, you'll cycle along the Halve Zolenlijn (Half Zolen Line), the former railway line for the leather industry between Lage Zwaluwe and 's-Hertogenbosch. Then you'll enter the polders and follow the course of the Donge, a lowland stream. From junction 93, you'll briefly pass the Kromgat, a creek formed after the St. Elizabeth's Flood of 1421. Further on, you'll cycle through the picturesque village of Geertruidenberg. The route follows the Halve Zolenlijn again, after which you'll cross the Bergsche Maas again and cycle via Drongelen to De Speeltol.
