This varied walking route, which starts and ends at Natuurpoort de Heksenboom, leads through the Ullingse Bergen nature reserve; the green outskirts of Sint Anthonis.
Forestry Sint Anthonis
This beautiful nature reserve, owned by Staatsbosbeheer, offers a varied landscape of forest, heathland and sand drifts. Old juniper bushes can be found on the heaths, but also wet areas of heath where rare plant species such as the lesser sundew occur. The Scots pine, once planted for use in the Limburg mines, determines the face of the forest. Kempen heath sheep and Scottish highlanders graze on the heath. More information: www.staatsbosbeheer.nl.
Restaurant de Heksenboom
