Sint Anthonis Forestry
This beautiful nature reserve, owned by Staatsbosbeheer, offers a varied landscape of forest, heathland and sand drifts. Old juniper bushes can be found on the heathlands, but also wet areas of heathland where rare plant species such as the small sundew occur. The Scots pine, once planted for use in the Limburg mines, determines the face of the forest. Kempen heath sheep and Scottish highlanders graze on the heath. More information: www.staatsbosbeheer.nl.
