Through the polders from Callantsoog

Enjoy the coastline, extensive polders and wonderful cycling along the water. This is a wonderfully versatile route. Along the way you will discover two nice museums that are worth visiting and the peaceful landscape. You leave from the Tante Jaantje Museum Farm. In this historic farm you will learn how people used to live and work in this area. From Callantsoog you dive into the hinterland. Halfway through you will pass Museum de Turfschuur, where you will find out how people here literally and figuratively keep their heads above water. During the route you can enjoy cycling along meadow polders and colorful flower fields. You then drive along the Waardkanaal to the Amstelmeer, where you can enjoy the birds and water sports enthusiasts. Then you cycle back to the coast at Callantsoog.
