Vast polders, bulb fields, and charming villages: this is a wonderfully diverse route. From Sint Maarten, you head west. You'll cross the North Holland Canal via an authentic pontoon bridge, after which you'll drive to Callantsoog. Here you'll see the Reformed Church from 1580 with its magnificent tower. You can stop at the Tantje Jaantje Museum Farm to learn more about the region. Oudesluis was once a port for VOC ships, but the construction of the Anna Paulownapolder cut it off from the Zuiderzee in 1845. Via Wieringerwaard, you'll drive to Schagen. Here you'll see, among other things, the Christoforus Church from 1883. A little further on, you'll pass the back of Schagen Castle. Turn right to see the towers, which date back to the Middle Ages. The route ends at De Wielen Recreation Park.
