Wickenburg country estate
The first sight is not long in coming: Wickenburg country estate has a history that goes back to 1300! Walking through the fruit orchards and flowery grasslands you will pass Weerdenburg. On the site of a twelfth-century castle, a farm arose here in the seventeenth century, which was still surrounded by a moat in 1830.
Castle Weathered
From afar you can already see the church tower and the water tower in Werkhoven. Just outside the village you pass Kasteel Beverweerd. Originally this house dates from the thirteenth century, the current building dates from 1850. Further on you will pass the Rhine and Weert, a corn mill from 1882.
