Description
Around Uitgeest you can make a wonderful bike ride through the vast polders. A route full of peace and views over the water. You will also pass some historical sights.
Bulb sheds
In the polder it is nice to walk. You enjoy the peace and the high Dutch skies here. Ideal to catch up with friends and family. On the Startingerweg you see some old characteristic bulb sheds. Further on is a striking, but monumental transformer building from 1919.
Dorregeester mill
In Klein Dorregeest you will also see some beautiful buildings, such as a nineteenth-century farmhouse. The Dorregeestermolen is a thatched polder mill from 1896. At junction 94 you will find yourself in a quiet spot on the Uitgeestermeer. A nice moment to look out over the water in peace. And to let the silence work on you. At Bistro Nadar you can stretch your legs on the sheltered terrace after your trip. Time for something tasty!
