From Renesse to the North Sea beach

Moermond
The route starts at LEO BBB, a B&B where you will be pampered. From here you walk through a beautiful street to the 45-hectare estate on which the beautiful Slot Moermond stands. This castle originally dates from the thirteenth century. In 1953 the castle was seriously damaged by weather influences and the flood disaster. In recent years, the damaged walls of, among other things, the moat have been restored. What a picture!

North Sea
In Renesse you walk along the old ring road. You can see a few beautiful monuments here, such as the sixteenth-century Jacobuskerk. Further on you will pass Blikmuseum De Blikvanger where you can admire a collection of more than 4000 cans. A little later you walk on the North Sea beach. How wonderful the surf sounds! When the weather is nice, take a blanket and picnic with you to relax here. That's going to be paddling!
