Enjoy the woods on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

Jump on your bike for a nice trip through the varied nature on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. You also drive through the Kromme Rijnstreek. A route full of natural beauty and historic country estates. From Camping and Camping Farm't Boerenerf you can cycle straight onto the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Nearby you will see Landgoed De Viersprong, in the woods at a four-fork. The country house was built between 1889-1894. In the middle of the forest you drive past the striking Poorthuis Ruiterberg from 1917. A little later you dive into the valley around Langbroek. Here you see a typical landscape with rectangular plots. There are also a few fortified towers here that have been converted into country houses, such as Kasteel Sterkenburg. After enjoying the wide landscape for a while, you climb back into the woods.
