79 kilometers of the total distance of 600 kilometers of the MainRadweg can be enjoyed in Hessen. At Hanau - Philippsruhe Castle you have a wonderful green view all the way to the mouth of the Rhine, where you drive away from the busy traffic to the heart of the Rhine-Main area. In Frankfurt, the capital of Wiesbaden, skyscrapers tickle the sky. The Mainradweg is located directly on the current road where you can quench your thirst in beer gardens and apple wine halls. Once you have reached the terminus in Mainz-Kastel, subsequent trips along the Rhine are definitely worth a trip!
