The long route offers a balanced mix of relaxed and sporty stages. In relaxed stretches through river valleys, you gain strength for the green mountains of the Odenwald. A beautiful view of the landscape awaits you on the mountain range. The climbs, for example to the Gotthardsberg or Rothenberg, promise a great panoramic view. Picturesque places and historically influenced towns of timber frame construction invite you to visit. Admire the natural and artistic monuments, castles and palaces, churches and monasteries along the way. Enjoy the outspoken hospitality. Numerous Odenwälder inns offer fresh local specialities.

The route is marked everywhere and can be cycled with a touring bike or mountain bike. The start is possible anywhere. However, it is recommended to drive the route in the indicated direction. If you want to cycle the entire route, you should allow 3 to 5 days for it. The bike tour can also be booked as a package deal with Odenwald Tourismus GmbH. As a special highlight, a three-day cycling event takes place every year in July - August on the Three-Country Cycle Path.
