Walking through the Overloonsche Dunes

Overloon is the starting point of this route. For a long time this village was located in the middle of the heathlands, isolated from the rest of the world. From Overloon you walk into the Overloonsche Duinen. You walk around the Schaartven. Ice cream parlor Clevers Overloon is the end point of the route. Come in here for a delicious ice cream, a cup of coffee or a piece of cake and take a break from all the activity. You deserve that after your walk. South of Overloon you walk over a former drifting sand ridge. This area is known as the'Klokkenberg\\\' or'Het Helder\\\'. This is how the forest area that you find here today was created.
