A tour of the woods near Gemert

In the outskirts of Gemert it is wonderful to walk through the woods. The route starts in the cultural landscape of the Mortelse Peel. At junction 75 you will pass Bosmuseum De Rips: a wooden roof on the edge of the forest where information panels tell the history of this area. Then you walk into De Stippelberg. Just like in Het Beestveld, the path now also leads you through fragrant conifers. The deeper into the forest, the quieter it gets. Past junction 30 you will see D\\\'n Blikken Emmer, a monument consisting of a high pole and a bucket, on the right on one of the high sand dunes. There is an information panel with explanations.
