Cycling around the quiet Braassemermeer

You get on your bike at the edge of the Braassemermeer and from here you set course for the village center of Roelofarendsveen. A lot of horticulture is done in this village. From 1900 this village had its own auction. You then continue cycling through the villages of Nieuwe Wetering and Oude Wetering to Rijnsaterwoude. There you can take a look at the Dekkermolen from 1911. In the area between Nieuwe Wetering and Oude Wetering you cycle past the Googermolen. This ground sailer from 1717 is the largest round stone ground sailer in the Netherlands. The mill is still used on a voluntary basis to drain the Googerpolder. In the nice Woubrugge you get off at't Oude Raadhuys before you drive back to your starting point.
