The Veluwe, a paradise for cyclists

On the Veluwe you can cycle for miles on cycle paths crisscrossing through the forests. An ideal way to enjoy the many natural beauties.

Neighbourhood Three
The route starts at La Famiglia. From here you cycle into the Gelderse Vallei. In the open polder landscape you can enjoy the views and the peace. In Putten you cycle past the fifteenth-century village church, a sight to behold. A little later you cycle into the Sprielderbos, one of the oldest forests in the Netherlands. In the middle of the forest you come across Drie, a centuries-old picturesque hamlet.

Dancing trees
The Speulderbos is a varied primeval forest where nature is allowed to take its course. It is known as the'forest of the dancing trees\\\', because only the straight trunks have been cut down. Further on you come through Speuld, a small agricultural enclave where you see some characteristic old farms, fields and meadows. Then you cycle criss-cross through the forests again, what a cycling paradise the Veluwe is! After getting off, it is time for a delicious meal at La Famiglia.
