Elspeetse Heide
The route starts at la Familglia. You immediately drive into the vast forests of the Veluwe. Enjoy the nature and silence on the cycle path through the fresh forest air. Then it seems as if the kilometers fly by. On the Elspeetse Heide you have a beautiful view over the plain from the saddle. Further on you pass through Elspeet with its characteristic old farms.
Staverden Estate
A little later you drive past Staverden Estate. Centuries ago this was built as the start of a city. That plan did not go ahead, fortunately there are still some beautiful old buildings. On the edge of the Ermelose Heide you have a beautiful view of the surroundings. In the landscape you can still see the contours of the only Roman marching camp that the Netherlands has known. At La Famiglia you can enjoy a delicious meal.
