Description

From the village of Made you will be introduced to the other face of North Brabant: that of vast polders. This route also takes you along the Amer.

Charming Drimmeling
This cycle route first takes you to Drimmelen, a charming town with a protected villagescape. On the Herengracht you will see several monumental houses from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. From Drimmelen you can also take a boat into De Biesbosch National Park. The Biesbosch is one of the few freshwater areas in the world where there is an ebb and flow. From the dike along the Amer River you will soon have a beautiful view of the water.

Biesbosch
You cycle to Lage Zwaluwe, formerly the terminus of the Langstraatlijn, a railway line from's Hertogenbosch. Raw materials and finished products were transported over this connection, hence the local nickname'Half Zolenlijn\\\'. A little further on, in Hooge Zwaluwe, take a look at the more than 150-year-old Zeldenrust mill.
