The wooded area of Hoogerheide

From Hoogerheide you first drive to Eiland. This hamlet takes its name from an island in a fen on which a gallows once stood. Just past Huijbergen you cross the border into Belgium. Here you cycle through the Wildertse Duintjes, a relief-rich and varied forest with open spaces and heath remnants. In the village of Wildert you can visit the Bakkersmolen museum complex and the Steam and Bakery Museum. From the border village of Putte you drive back into the Netherlands, after which you cycle a bit through the border park De Zoom-Kalmthoutse Heide. Get off here to experience the silence and fresh air. At the hamlet of Calfven you drive over the edge of the Brabantse Wal. From here you have a beautiful view over the polder. At Het Raedthuys you can enjoy a delicious meal.
