Description
A wonderful watery route along Dutch lakes. It will be nice to get some fresh air and enjoy the views. You start your tour in Aalsmeer, where you drive onto the Uiterweg. Here you will see beautiful monumental farms located on the pools. From the dike you look out over the Westereinderplassen, or the Poel as the Aalsmeer people call it. In Oude Wetering it is wonderful to cycle along the canal. Don't forget to look to the right every now and then, there are some nice old buildings. A little later you will cycle along the Braassemermeer, after which you can get off at MEEK Coffee & Foods in Ter Aar for a break. On the former church path you cross the Langeraarse Plassen, finally you pass the Fort at Kudelstaart from 1906.
