Enjoy the Achterhoek to the fullest

The route starts at the edge of the town of Lochem. You will soon enter the forests of the Grote Veld. What a wonderfully quiet nature reserve! In the picturesque Ruurlo you will see, among other things, the fourteenth-century Dorpskerk. At Restaurant & Spelerij De Witte Wieven you can make a pleasant stopover. You can go there for a meal or a cup of coffee with something tasty, such as the Zwiepse bolus or a krentenwegge. In the atmospheric Lochem, take a look at the Sint-Gudulakerk from 1550, one of the oldest buildings in Lochem. Its predecessor was a wooden church from 1950. At the Markt you will see even more beautiful historical buildings.
