Enjoy the Achterhoek to the fullest

The route starts on the edge of the town of Lochem. You soon enter the woods of the Grote Veld. What a wonderfully quiet nature reserve! In picturesque Ruurlo you can see the fourteenth-century Village Church. You can make a pleasant stop at Restaurant & Spelerij De Witte Wieven. You can come here for a meal or a cup of coffee with something tasty, such as the Zwiepse bolus or a krentewegge. In atmospheric Lochem, take a look at the St. Gudula Church from 1550, one of the oldest buildings in Lochem. Its predecessor was a wooden church from 1950. On the Markt you will see even more beautiful historic buildings.
