Walking across the Ermelose Heide

The route starts and ends in the woods at Camping het Vossenhol. A wonderful overnight address. And a great base to explore the Veluwe. You immediately walk into the woods. It is wonderful to walk here on the sloping paths. Quiet means really quiet on the Veluwe! So enjoy the peace, alone or with family or friends. On the edge of the Ermelose Heide you pass a number of burial mounds. It is one of the many places on the Veluwe where ancient burial mounds have been found. On the heath you can enjoy the beautiful views. It is also nice and quiet here. That is, if you don't encounter the herd of bleating Veluwe Heide sheep that graze here every day. A little later you dive into the fragrant woods again.
