Description

The Bijlmerweide is a park in Amsterdam Southeast that was built around 1975. In 2016 - 2017, the'natural play\\\' project was realized.
During the walking route you will pass an amphibian pool, a stork's nest, various play areas, an insect hotel and art in the form of pedestrian traffic signs restored with glass mosaic (Peter Vial) and a large spiral object (Maarten Manson).
The route ends at Kinderboerderij De Bijlmerweide, where you can visit the playground and canteen. Fresh free-range eggs, own honey, coffee, tea, soft drinks, biscuits, crisps and many types of ice cream are available here. Visitors can sit quietly in the visitors' room and, when the weather is nice, on the terrace and at the picnic tables that are present on the site.
opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 8.30 am to 5 pm.
With the exception of the playing fields, dogs are allowed to run loose in the Bijlmer meadow.
