Tour of Groesbeek along the Orientalis Museum Park

It undulates beautifully around Groesbeek, where you can cycle through the woods. Along the way you will discover the beautiful Museumpark Orientalis, a must to get off for a while.

Museumpark Orientalis You start just above Groesbeek. You cycle through the wooded and hilly surroundings to the Heilig Landstichting, where you will find Museumpark Orientalis, the former Biblical Open Air Museum. It is immediately worth getting off, because here you will discover the colorful world of Judaism, Christianity and Islam in a 30-hectare national monument. Then you cycle with a detour towards the village of Groesbeek, straight through the forest.

Organic Wine Farm Colonjes You will also pass the Wijnhoeve Colonjes, an organic vineyard and one of the leading producers of Dutch wines. The vineyards are located on the beautiful southern slopes of the wine village of Groesbeek. On 13 hectares of loose soil, divided over the Colonjes, the Knapheideweg and't Hof, ten different new grape varieties have been planted, of which white wine, rose, sparkling wines and red wine are made in-house.

Groesbeekse Bos You cycle through the Groesbeekse Bos here, which is located on a moraine southeast of Nijmegen. It is an old forest, in which you will find old beech avenues, oaks, birches and conifers. It is very undulating here, it is as if you are in Germany - not so surprising that you cycle right along the border a little later.
