Walking through the hills near Berg en Dal

Berg en Dal offers beautiful walks through nature. You start this route at Wylerbergmeer. Here you have a beautiful view of the forests of the Duivelsberg, the first hill you will climb. In the middle of the forest you pass the remains of the medieval motte castle Mergelp. This place was already used by the Romans as a viewpoint. You still have a beautiful view from here. You continue your route along a section of the Pieterpad. It is nice and quiet to walk here, ideal for a day of relaxation. You pass the R10 listening point, walk along the Roman Limespad past a vineyard to De Heksendans. Enjoy a delicious meal before walking along the Piet van Rossumpad through the Philosopher's Valley. Finally, you walk along Wylerbergmeer.
