Enjoy the Achterhoek to the fullest

Get on your bike and experience what the Achterhoek has to offer. That's a lot, both in cultural, historical and culinary terms. The route starts at De Hollandse Molen, a flour mill from 1926. From here you drive through a varied bocage landscape, it seems as if the landscape here was created especially for cyclists! Around junction 58 you drive through Landgoed Het Beekvliet. Here you will see a mosaic of farmland, deciduous and coniferous forests, impressive tree-lined avenues and hedgerows. Further on you will pass through the Ruurlo Estate. Here you will find a castle, centuries-old avenues, trees and farms. In Ruurlo you drive past the Sint-Willibrordus Church from 1871. Just before Eibergen you can take a culinary break at Hof van Eckberge. Further afield you can do the same at Grand Café De Klok Patisserie.
