Enjoy the Achterhoek to the fullest

Get on your bike and experience what the Achterhoek has to offer. That is quite a lot, culturally, historically and culinary. The route starts at De Hollandse Molen, a flour mill from 1926. From here you drive through a varied bocage landscape, it seems as if the landscape here has been specially constructed for cyclists! Around junction 58 you drive through Landgoed Het Beekvliet. Here you see a mosaic of farmland, deciduous and coniferous forest, imposing tree-lined avenues and hedgerows. Further on you will pass through Landgoed Ruurlo. Here you will find a castle, ancient avenues, trees and farms. In Ruurlo you drive past the Sint-Willibrordus church from 1871. Just before Eibergen you can take a culinary break at Hof van Eckberge. Further on you can do the same at Grand Café De Klok Patisserie.
