Views from the Margraten Plateau

The village of Cadier en Keer is the starting point of this walk. This village is located on the Margraten Plateau, which gives you a beautiful view of both Maastricht and the Maas Valley. Via a real slope forest you arrive at the Riesenberg forest area, after which you walk back to Cadier en Keer. Here you wander through ancient streets past historic buildings. The various half-timbered farms in the village are a feast for the eyes. At the end of your walk, settle down at Het Rijk van Margraten Golf Course. There is a restaurant in the clubhouse of the golf course where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a cup of coffee.
