Your route starts at Brasserie Bravoure. Along the way, you'll pass several nature reserves, such as Groote Slink & Bunthorst. These two estates were built in the early twentieth century by two brothers from Twente. One is in the English landscape style, the other with fields and straight lanes. De Stippelberg is named after the old drifting dunes that are scattered like dots across the landscape. Besides nature, you'll also discover the charming villages of Bakel and Milheeze. Molen Laurentia is an octagonal belt mill built in 1890. At the time, the mill was called the Ludolizawi, a portmanteau of the names of miller Verheijen's ancestors. During a restoration in 1965, the mill was renamed the Laurentia. The mill is still operational, but is no longer used for grinding.
