Walking through Bronkhorst and surroundings

Bronkhorst is easy to explore on foot. Especially because it is one of the smallest towns in the Netherlands. You walk through the beautiful countryside to Huis Baak.

Picturesque Bronkhorst
Bronkhorst was restored in the 1960s and returned to its original medieval state. Walking around here feels like you've stepped into a time machine! So charge the battery of your camera or smartphone properly. The Chapel Church dates from the fifteenth century. Just outside the town you pass the Bronkhorster Mill. This flour mill dates from 1844.

House Baak
It is quiet walking in the countryside. A great opportunity to catch up with family and friends. Just outside Baak you pass Huis Baak. The country estate originally dates from the thirteenth century and was then owned by the counts of Gelre. The house was rebuilt and expanded in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The route ends in style: at Herberg De Gouden Leeuw in Bronkhorst, a cozy and history-rich location.
