Dotted Mountain
With this route you will discover the surprising surroundings of Milheeze in North Brabant. Nearby you will find the beautiful forest area De Stippelberg, named after the many sand hills that lie like dots in the landscape. This route runs through the eastern part of De Stippelberg. In this relatively humid part you will see deciduous trees and rhododendrons. This is a real estate, complete with a country house and stately avenues. Maybe you will spot a woodpecker or deer!
Milheeze
Along farms and meadows you walk back towards Milheeze. This ancient village was first mentioned in the fourteenth century. When you walk past the Sint-Willibrorduskerk, pay attention to the tower: it dates from the fifteenth century. The church was built in 1844 on the foundations of an old chapel.
