Tour of Groenendaal Castle

Your route starts at Terrassencamping Osebos. The Gulp Valley is perfect for a lovely walk. From the hilltops, you have magnificent views over the South Limburg hills. And along the meandering Gulp River, you feel like you've stepped back in time. You'll walk through the hills on quiet roads and footpaths, enjoying views of expansive grasslands and wooded slopes. After a stroll along the hillside, you'll reach a large 19th-century farmhouse, the former Groenendaal Castle. The Gulp Valley can be wonderfully quiet. Walking along the babbling brook, you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. At Kampsweg 66 and 76 in Pesaken, you can take a look at two monumental 18th-century half-timbered farmhouses before heading back.
