Lakes and mills in the Green Heart

First you set course for the Kagerplassen: not only beautiful to look at, but also cultural-historically valuable because of the characteristic allotment pattern, the striking windmills and the virtual absence of houses. Here you can immediately smuggle a bit, because the bicycle ferry sails back and forth between two junctions. You sail to Kaag, enjoying the beautiful lake area. Windmills accompany you on this tour. If you continue towards the Braassemermeer, you will see the special Googermolen from 1717 in the flat polder land along the Ringvaart, for example: the largest round stone ground sailor in the Netherlands. You cycle a bit along the Langeraakse Plassen, the Woudwetering and the Wijde Aa before returning to your starting point, Landwinkel Castelijn. Relax here on the terrace with a cup of coffee or a healthy pure juice.
