E-bike route Almelo and Tubbergen

Your route starts at Eetcafe-Cafetaria 't Zumpke. A green route along the water leads you through the Twente countryside to charming villages and Almelo. The beautiful old town of Almelo is a great place to include a day of cycling through Twente. You'll cycle past Hagenpark to PM Rogmanspark. On the corner between the two parks, you'll see the city church De Bleek, a cruciform church from 1927 in the Amsterdam School style. Just outside Almelo, you'll follow the Loolee stream to the Almelo-Nordhorn Canal. From here, you'll have a beautiful view of the water. Once you leave the canal, you'll soon find yourself in that typical Twente landscape of old farmhouses, country lanes, and rows of trees. You'll pass through charming villages like Tubbergen. Wonderfully green and authentic!
