Staverden estate and the Speulderbos

The Veluwe consists of many different sub-areas. Each and every one of them are natural gems. Such as the Ermelose Heide. At the sheepfold you will find a visitor center, from the path you then have beautiful views of the cultural landscape where the herd grazes. Further on you will come across the Staverden Estate, which was built two centuries ago as the start of a city. That plan was not entirely successful, so that Staverden is now officially the smallest town with city rights in the Benelux. You drive along the edge of the Houtdorperveld to Garderen, an agricultural enclave surrounded by forests. You cycle through the Speulderbos where the trees seem to dance thanks to their irregular trunks. After a visit to Ermelo you cycle to the end of the route: Camping het Vossenhol.
