Description

The cozy village of Nunspeet is a nice base for walking tours. With this route you will discover the village itself and the natural outlying area. Nunspeet has been a painter's village for over a century. At the end of the nineteenth century, various artists such as Jan Mankes captured poor farm life here. A relatively large number of painters still live in and around the village. On the Driestweg you will soon see a beautiful tower between the houses: the beautiful nineteenth-century Dorpskerk, regularly captured by local painters. Further on you walk into the outside area. The landscape is a mix of forests, meadows, hedgerows and old farms. Just before the end of the route you can visit the Noord-Veluws Museum. At Bakery and lunchroom Unique you are welcome for a coffee with something delicious.
