A figure eight through Elspeet

Your route starts at Camping De Meulebarg (note: closed on Sundays). The route forms a figure eight, so you'll stop at your starting point for a break along the way. In the countryside surrounding Elspeet, you'll immediately enjoy beautiful farms. Then you'll delve into the vast forests of the Veluwe. This is the Gemeentebos Nunspeet, which stretches all the way to here. After a stop at the campsite, you'll pass through Elspeet with its characteristic old farms. Molen De Hoop is a corn mill dating back to 1894. The Elspeterbos is a very old beech forest. As early as 1100, it was used as a community forest by the residents of Elspeet. It is part of the largest contiguous old forest in the Netherlands. The trees are direct descendants of the former primeval forest.
