The countryside surrounding Rosmalen is a wonderful place for cycling. You'll ride through forests, along the Meuse River, and through several charming little villages. A delightfully varied route! You'll pass Nuland, a typical, friendly Brabant village. Through the polders, you'll head towards the Meuse River. You'll cycle along the Krommenhoek, the winding dike that follows the course of the Meuse. Along the way, you'll find the Caners Pumping Station Museum, housed in a pumping station that operated from 1933 to 1979. The museum is open regularly on weekends, and you can admire two authentic pumping stations, among other things. You'll pass through Rosmalen and cycle along the Grote Wetering, a waterway dug by monks in the 13th century. Be sure to stop along the way at De Hooghei!
