From Drimmelen, you'll drive a few kilometers through the North Brabant polders. Over the centuries, several major floods have left behind a significant amount of sea clay on the soil. This fertile soil now boasts a mix of fields and grasslands. You'll pass through Lage Zwaluwe, a protected village, and then cross the Amer River by ferry to De Biesbosch National Park. Thanks in part to the tidal action, you'll encounter a unique marshland landscape here. Just past Werkendam, you'll pass De Vervoorne Molen, a polder mill dating from 1700. Further on, you'll drive along the Bakkerskil, an old creek that once had a powerful current. Fort Werk aan de Bakkerskil stands here. Via Hank, you'll cross the river again to Geertruidenberg. The route ends in Drimmelen at Het Panorama.
