Cycling route Oosterhout, Terheijden and Drimmelen

After a coffee and a treat at Het Panorama, hop on your bike for a day of exploring the diverse region of North Brabant. Discover the charm of Geertruidenberg, for example, where you'll see many historic buildings on the Markt square. Just past Waspik, cycle along the Donge river for a while before approaching Oosterhout. Around junction 4 lies the Heilige Driehoek (Holy Triangle). Here you'll find three abbeys: Onze-Lieve-Vrouweabdij (Our Lady's Abbey), Sint-Paulusabdij (St. Paul's Abbey), and Catharinadal, housed in the ancient small castle De Blauwe Camer (The Blue Room). You'll cycle for a while along the Mark Canal, and then Terheijden will be on your route. Here you can visit the Kleine Schans (Little Schans), a fortification dating back to the Eighty Years' War. Finally, two more characteristic villages are on your route: Hooge Zwaluwe and Drimmelen. Both are protected townscapes.
