Tour through the Leudal and the Heldense forests

Enjoy cycling through the woods and along the water: what a beautiful route. Along the way you will discover nice villages where you can stop for a while. From the starting point in Roggel at Recreatiepark De Leistert you immediately drive into the Het Leudal nature reserve. You will pass the visitor center, so be sure to stop here to find out more about this special area. The Leudal is intersected by the meandering Tungelroyse Beek, locally called the Leubeek. You will find a variety of wet and dry forests. And silence! In Haelen you can see the beautiful Aldenghoor Castle. In Helden you can stop for a snack or drink at Brasserie De Zoes. They are known here for their beer range, highly recommended!
