Tour through the Leudal and the Heldense forests

Lovely cycling through the woods and along the water: what a beautiful route. Along the way you will discover nice villages where you can get off for a while. From the starting point in Roggel at Recreation Park De Leistert you immediately enter the nature reserve Het Leudal. You will pass the visitor center, be sure to get off here to learn more about this special area. Het Leudal is intersected by the meandering Tungelroyse Beek, locally called the Leubeek. You will find an alternation of wet and dry forests. And silence! In Haelen you can see the beautiful Kasteel Aldenghoor. In Helden you can get off for a bite to eat or a drink at Brasserie De Zoes. They are known here for their range of beers, highly recommended!
