Walking in the green countryside of Nuland

Around the Brabant village of Nuland it is lovely to walk. You walk through the Nulandse Heide and the forests. In the polders you will find a refreshing peace and space.

Nuland Heath
After walking past the Karregat nature reserve, you cross the railway to walk across the Nulandse Heide. Here you will see blown-up heads of drifting sand on which summer oak and Scots pine grow. A little further on you walk into the forests that surround the former monastery of Sint Jozefoord. It is wonderfully quiet here, ideal to clear your head. In the Dorpsstraat in Nuland you walk past several beautiful villas and the former Town Hall from 1948.

The Diligence
On the edge of Geffen you will pass De Vlijt. This beautiful corn mill dates back to 1685. Originally it was in Boxtel, around 1875 it was moved to Geffen for the first time. In 1976 it was placed at its current location. Further on the walk bends to the polders in the north. Here you walk through an old slag landscape where you will find a refreshing peace and space.
