In the outskirts of Den Bosch you can enjoy cycling along the Maas. In the polder you will find an almost old-fashioned peace and space.
Museum pumping station Caners
You pass Museumgemaal Caners, which is located in a pumping station that served from 1933 to 1979. Among other things, you can admire two authentic machines. Then you drive a long way along the banks of the Maas. From the dike you can enjoy beautiful views over the water and the flowery floodplains.
Lith
You pass the Lithse Ham, a recreational lake that was created by sand extraction. During the dredging work, the remains of a Roman temple were encountered here. Lith is an old village on the Maas, where you will find some beautiful sights. In the countryside it is wonderful to make miles, while you enjoy the peace, space and cozy villages at your leisure. Like Geffen with its beautiful village center.
