In the countryside of Den Bosch you can enjoy cycling along the Maas. In the polder you will still find an almost old-fashioned peace and space.
Museum pumping station Caners
You pass the Caners Museum Pumping Station, which is located in a pumping station that served from 1933 to 1979. You can admire two authentic machines there. Then you drive a long way along the banks of the Maas. From the dike you can enjoy beautiful views of the water and the flowery floodplains.
Lith
You will pass the Lithse Ham, a recreational lake created by sand extraction. During the dredging work, the remains of a Roman temple were discovered here. Lith is an old village on the Maas, where you will find some beautiful sights. In the countryside it is wonderful to travel for miles, while you enjoy the peace, space and charming villages at your leisure. Like Geffen with its beautiful village heart.
